About Carmin Wingeier
With over 25 years of experience as a Public Accountant, Operations Consultant, Controller, Director of Finance & Treasury, and VP/Finance & General Manager, Carmin brings a broad range of expertise in financial and business management to an organization. She has been recognized as a pragmatic leader that both helps bring a new level of financial structure to organizations and effectively solves problems. She has also been credited with streamlining accounting operations, establishing governance, creating financial reports, recruiting/retaining/developing personnel and improving both cash flow and profitability. With a background that includes public accounting, consulting and working for multiple Fortune 500 companies Carmin has advised and participated in multiple start-ups, acquisitions and dispositions. She was on the core executive management team that presented businesses to potential buyers in multiple divestments. She also created both the carve-out financial statements for the businesses to be sold and developed the pricing/timing for the Transitional Services Agreements on multiple divestitures. Carmin understands the complex relationships between management, ownership, bankers, regulators and multiple stakeholders.
Carmin’s industry experience includes consumer goods, manufacturing, healthcare, financial services, wireless communication and technology. She has experience working with small, privately owned businesses and large, publicly traded companies, but she prefers working directly with owners to help them achieve their business goals.
Carmin recognizes the importance of timely financial reports providing owners and managers the information they need to make good business decisions. She develops operating metrics, budgets and forecasts to effectively plan and measure performance.
A native Michigander, who relocated to North Carolina, Carmin received a BA in Economics and Management/Accounting (and German) from Albion College. Carmin also has an MBA with a concentration in International Business from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She started her career as an auditor for a Big Four public accounting firm where she earned a CPA certification.
Carmin makes her home in Davidson, North Carolina where she is active in her church and the community. She and her husband have two children and five dogs. They enjoy paddle boarding, local sports and spending time with their family.
